Table flower arrangements are a quick and easy way to create and bring a beautiful summery scene into your home. Picking which flowers would create the best summery scene can be difficult as there are so many eye-catching and beautiful flowers to choose from. Here are some of my personal favourites.

Being probably the most popular flower, roses are definitely one of our top choices. These are beautiful flowers on their own and in bunches they are even more pleasing to the eye and with the wide variety of bright, exuberant colours to choose from they are perfect for a lovely summer table arrangement.

Another ideal choice of flower for a summer table arrangement has to be the sunflower. This gorgeous, large flower looks like the sun and is bound to make you smile. They are known for being a ‘happy’ flower that can bring any dull and lifeless room to life.

Other popular summer favourites include; chrysanthemums, gerbera, lilies, dahlias, carnations, hypericum and gladioli. All of which come in a wide array of sizes, shapes and vibrant and exciting colours, which would make a perfect addition to your summer table arrangement.

If you’d prefer something a little more tropical in your arrangement, orchids are an excellent choice. They also come in all shapes, sizes and colours and are delicately simple, yet incredibly beautiful at the same time.

Also, if you’d like your table arrangement to be completely different and a little bit quirky, why not have a miniature citrus tree. The idyllic summery colours from the oranges, lemons or limes will set your room alive and you’ll get some fruits to boot.

Another good idea is to simply pick and prune your own flowers from your garden, whether they are one type only or mixed and enjoy your lovely summer garden inside. Perfect for those days when you can’t get outside to enjoy it.

These are just a few ideas to help get you started in creating the ideal summer table arrangement for your home. There are so many beautiful flowers and other ideas that we could go on for days. Ideal summery colour choices would be reds, oranges, yellows, bright purples, pinks and lush greens. Whether you use one type or a mixture, your arrangement will be guaranteed to brighten up your mood and your home.
