Christmas is a manic time! No matter what we say we’ll do differently, each year, December comes round and the craziness begins again! So this year, we are determined to ease the pressure by giving you some top tips to get ahead, starting with the Christmas shopping!
The trick to great Christmas planning is preparation and staying in the festive mood all year long – throughout the year, prices of more-or-less everything will increase as we approach Christmas and people start buying more, and the trick is to start buying earlier than everyone else! Of course, this is a lot easier said than done, and one of our best techniques is to make a list nice and early in the year and start ticking off names quickly! This really, genuinely helps – having a small visual reminder of what you have left to do will get your head in the game, and will save you a lot of money in the long run.
It would be remiss of us to not remind you of the deals and offers we’re proud to have available on some of our favourite candles. Have a look and we’re certain our wide collection will not disappoint – so bag yourself a cheap Yankee Candle! One thing we love about selling scents is that everyone has a favourite and there will be a scent that somebody, somewhere, absolutely loves, even if they haven’t found it yet. That’s why we love what we do; we’re connecting people with something that they’ll treasure and enjoy time after time. And you can be part of that, too – buy some friends something you think they might like and bring them closer to that perfect scent they’ll be so, so thrilled to find.
Of course, there are lots of other options to you all out there to find the perfect Christmas present for your friends and family. Why not make some things of your own? If you have a hobby where you enjoy making stuff, this is the perfect opportunity to get your friends and family to enjoy it as much as you do, and offer something heartfelt and personal instead of something you’ve just clicked on at Amazon. It’s this warmth and personality that Christmas and gift-giving is all about, so celebrate that by making something yourself – it means you’ll be well ahead of the Christmas rush, too!
Finally, take advantage of the pre-Christmas sales and make sure to stock up on gift cards. The former will save you a lot of money as shops hurry to clear space for the Christmas stuff to come in (and will save you the mad rush, to boot!) and the latter will show you put some thought and effort into a gift, rather than just stuffing some cash into a Christmas card. Gift cards are particularly good for those smaller relatives, whose parents might be a little uncomfortable with them having a sudden influx of cash once a year.
